My hat collection...

Hey Sweeties! 

Hats, hats and hats I love them. Whenever I go into a department store I always try them on I swear the staff at Debenhams are like 'Oh god she's back'. I don't ever care what I look like in them it's fun! 

I never really wore hats until I started 6th form, where there was no uniform, you could wear what ever you'd like.

 I've bought 3 hats in the past month so I thought I'd share my collection, however small it is unfortunately.

Why did you decide to start blogging?

I wanted to create something that I could look back on and see how I've developed as a person and in life.

Were you a trouble-maker or a good kid in school?

I wasn't really a trouble maker, I got a few detentions for not doing my homework but that was about it.

 What are your favourite TV shows?

It'd have to be the ones in fact 11. Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, NCIS, Castle and Rizzoli & Isles.

Do you prefer dressing for summer or winter?

Defiantly summer.

What is your natural hair colour?

Light Brown.

If you could wish for one book/tv/film/comic universe to be real which would it be? (Weird question I know but I’m dying to go to Hogwarts haha)

Haha, I'd love to go to Hogwarts too! I am a member of Pottermore. I'd love the Hunger Games to be real, but I'd be living in The Capitol though not the Districts.

What one thing do you want to achieve within the next year?

To finally have a tattoo done for my Grandad. Now that I have a job, I should be able to save enough for it.

Have you ever had any embarrassing hair/make-up/wardrobe disasters? Do tell :)

When I was 6 my cousin and I decided to play hairdressers. She got a pair of real scissors and started to cut. I had long hair, so one side was long and the other short, in the end I had to get a mushroom cut.

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

Abseiled down a steep cliff, I was pooping myself! I actually stood in cow poo before I done it so that was all I could smell on the way down.

What beauty/hair product do you swear by?

Lush's Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo. Made with Lemons and Beer, gives an amazing shine and smells great.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

There are many places I want to travel, but right now I want tickets to Hong Kong to see my dad since he now lives out there. I haven't seen him for 4 months.

Changes are poop.

Hey sweeties. 

I'm in such a pickle in life at the moment.

I started the childcare job I mentioned in a previous post yesterday which was meant to be for four days a week, finally I thought I'd be able to sign off of the dole. Yet, they say I'm needed 2 days a week. 

Bollocks.

I hate, hate, hate being on the dole.

So my search for a job that's 16 hours a week continues. Why 16? I need a job to fit around my part time degree.

If I can't find a job within the next month I can't go to uni, which I've had my heart set on for this past year. I can't go because I only get my course paid for, no bursaries because it's a part time course not full time. 

Which completely sucks.

What's even worse is that I've completely fallen out with my mam because of this as she never wanted me to go to uni. 

So for a few days I'm staying at Kates which I'm so grateful. Her mam and sister too, they're truly like my adopted family. I'm so lucky to have them as they're the only people who I can really turn to. 

A lot like Sirius and James Potters relationship.

So for now I'm trying to decided what's for the best.

1. Not to do the Foundation Degree and concentrate on getting a job.

2. Do an apprenticeship.

3. Concentrate on getting a job and re-apply for uni next year, which leaves me time to get placements in a nursery for the mean time. 

I know which ever option I choose will be best for me, but it still feels poop!

It's worse when one of your parents live on the other side of the world too.

So for now I have a lot of thinking to do whilst watching the beautiful divers at the Olympics.

1. I'm getting a tattoo for my grandad on the day he died.

2. This year I'm going to Leeds Festival, I more than worried about the portable toilet situation. So I'll be taking plenty of antibacterial gel.

To find other people with the same interests as me and to basically share my experiences with anyone willing to listen/read. 

2. What is your favourite type of blog to read?

I love personal blogs, I like to know more about the writer. I go straight off blogs that are about buying make-up simply to do a review on it. I also like photography blogs.

3. What are you top three favourite products?

Maybelline Colour Tattoo - On and On Bronze, Rimmel Mascara Max Bold Curves and Sally Hansen Double Duty

4. What have you got planned for summer?

Leeds festival, Kate's birthday week, many dvd nights. Day trips in the car.

5. What is the best holiday you have ever been on?

Defiantly New York last year. I could've stayed in Times Square forever.

6. Do you change your beauty routine for over summer?

Not much though I do wear less foundation.

7. Do your friends and family know you have a blog?

Only my close friends do which are mainly boys :) 

8.What's your worst habit?

Whistling. Every single time I whistle it's the Match of the Day theme tune.

9. What's your favourite item of clothing?

My black skinny jeans, I have 3 pairs.

10. Do you use one bag or swap between bags?

I use the one bag, though I have hundreds on the back of my door.

11. What kind of make-up do you like to wear during summer?

I love to wear mascara. Too much foundation clogs up my pores the heat makes me tierd so if I wear eyeliner and eyeshadow I mainly rub it off, whilst rubbing my eyes.

1. Why did you start blogging?

Since leaving school and being unemployed I was sick of doing nothing. My friend had a blog and she wouldn't stop talking about it so I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

2. What is the one thing you want to do before you die?

Jeese I have loads of things! One of my first posts was my bucket list. The ultimate thing I want to do is a volunteer holiday in Africa with children. I've always had a passion about 3rd world countries.

3. Heels or Flats?

Defiantly flats, I'm a big girl. Heels just cause SO much pain, when I do wear them I leave them by the dancefloor.

4. Where's your favourite place to shop?

Dorothy Perkins, they have so many cute clothes. I always go to the sale section :) 

5. What is your favourite movie?
It is Labyrinth, with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. I just completely love it.

6. What's my best feature?

I would say my legs, as for my shape they are an average size. I have muscle on my calves! But my Kate would say my bum as its small. I say its non-existent.

7. What would be your dream holiday?
Thailand, as I love to relax by the beach and I love to explore ancient ruins, getting to know the culture.
8. High end or drug store make-up?
Drug store, usually A LOT cheaper.
9. What is your dream job?
An Au Pair (posh nanny). As I love children and I love travelling so why not combine them.
