My hat collection...

Hey Sweeties!
Hats, hats and hats I love them. Whenever I go into a department store I always try them on I swear the staff at Debenhams are like 'Oh god she's back'. I don't ever care what I look like in them it's fun!
I never really wore hats until I started 6th form, where there was no uniform, you could wear what ever you'd like.
I've bought 3 hats in the past month so I thought I'd share my collection, however small it is unfortunately.

1. £10 Simply Be 2. £4 Primark
 3. £5 Matalan 4. £8 Primark
5. River Island £8 6. £2 (sale) Matalan

I've been nominated for the Liebster award by the lovely Kirsty over at Just Like Heaven!
Thank you m'dear!

8. Each time I hear Little Talks - Of Monster and Men I fall in love with it more and more.
9. Just encase I ever win the lottery, I have a list of people in my purse who I'd share the money with.

11. I've watched every episode of Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, NCIS, Castle and Rizzoli & Isles.

Kirsty's Questions...

Why did you decide to start blogging?
I wanted to create something that I could look back on and see how I've developed as a person and in life.
Were you a trouble-maker or a good kid in school?
I wasn't really a trouble maker, I got a few detentions for not doing my homework but that was about it.
What are your favourite TV shows?
It'd have to be the ones in fact 11. Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, NCIS, Castle and Rizzoli & Isles.
Do you prefer dressing for summer or winter?
Defiantly summer.
What is your natural hair colour?
Light Brown.
If you could wish for one book/tv/film/comic universe to be real which would it be? (Weird question I know but I’m dying to go to Hogwarts haha)
Haha, I'd love to go to Hogwarts too! I am a member of Pottermore. I'd love the Hunger Games to be real, but I'd be living in The Capitol though not the Districts.
What one thing do you want to achieve within the next year?
To finally have a tattoo done for my Grandad. Now that I have a job, I should be able to save enough for it.
Have you ever had any embarrassing hair/make-up/wardrobe disasters? Do tell :)
When I was 6 my cousin and I decided to play hairdressers. She got a pair of real scissors and started to cut. I had long hair, so one side was long and the other short, in the end I had to get a mushroom cut.
What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?
Abseiled down a steep cliff, I was pooping myself! I actually stood in cow poo before I done it so that was all I could smell on the way down.
What beauty/hair product do you swear by?
Lush's Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo. Made with Lemons and Beer, gives an amazing shine and smells great.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
There are many places I want to travel, but right now I want tickets to Hong Kong to see my dad since he now lives out there. I haven't seen him for 4 months.

With Love,

What's in my bag? Uni Edition.

Hey sweeties,
Being my natural self I always leave everything to the last minute, apart from when I'm going on holiday I have check lists for everything. As its my first year at uni I've decided to get my bag ready a day early because knowing me I'll forgot something in a last minute dash for the bus.

As it'll be my first day, I've decided to take the basic essentials.

Brown Satchel.
I've always wanted one of these and when I seen it in Primark for £9 I couldn't resist.
This may just be me but when I see someone with a satchel and it has a see through bit at the front like mine I find it irratating when they leave it blank. So yesterday whilst watching The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon said the magical word that is 'BAZINGA'. Therefore thee above.

My folder and Pukka Pad, every student needs one. I have a big thing for polka dots.
The most beautiful phone I've ever had (Samsung Galaxy S2) and my trusted Ipod that holds the soundtrack to my life.
The Radley purse was a birthday present many moons ago, I really do need a new its starting to show wear and tear.
The magnificent Paper Chase brolly that has saved me on so many occasions. In the past I bought £1 brolly's from Poundland that always snapped so I decided to buy this for £15 and it hasn't let me down yet. I've probably just jinxed myself, good one Michelle.
Antibacterial Gel and Tissues, I'm an OCD freak. I can't handle germs, it's a miracle I survived Leeds Festival.
Sure is the best deodorant I've ever had, after a long busy day I can still smell it on me.
And last but not least a pretty pencil case. Every one who knows me knows I'm obsessed with our Union Jack flag, so when I seen this I had to have it. I also found it fitting that the design is called Festival, I bought it the day after Leeds :D

So that's my bag, if you's have done a recent What's In My Bag post please leave the link below as I love to be nebby!

I'm singing in the rain, literally!

Hello sweeties!
I took Charley to get her monthly weigh in, she is now 16lbs 10oz! Afterwards we went to Asda who had a huge sale on, I was so happy.
I bought Union Jack dress which I've wanted since the Jubilee.
£18 down to £10,
Then a crown polka dot blouse
£12 down to £6.
My mam is a bargain warrior in Primark! She found 2 cute winter skirts from £10 to £1!
She also bought me a black pair of flossys to go with everything.

Thursday is a day I will never forget. I went to the fathers who is back from China yay! I had a migraine so I went home. BANG, BANG, CRASH. I thought the little rugrats next door were messing about with the bins, then suddenly my whole room went dark then it started to thunder and lightening! I was a tad scared of the noise. I was stuck on the bus coming from town for 3 hours which normally takes 30 minutes! What was worse is that I had to walk an hour in it.
Yet, all we can do is laugh.
Me and Kate sang singing in the rain, spinning our umbrellas around. Jumping in all the puddles we past. Until  we came across this.

Thank god, my Aunt has a tumble dryer.
People came to their doors to watch us plough through this, it was hilarious. I had to empty my shoes as they acted as buckets, unfortunately. Outside my Aunt's flat my cousin tried to jump out of her car over the puddle but slipped on her botty!

Top Ten #7 - Bags

One thing that's been constant in my life is my love for bags! For as long as I can remember I've been buying them though I haven't needed them. I remember pinching my mams bag and putting my dolly (Peggy) in.

1. Macy's, This was the first thing I bought for myself in New York last year for $20. I love using it in the Summer as you can its glittery!!
2. My everyday bag which I bought not too long ago from Dorothy Perkins. It's big enough to fit everything in. The straps don't wear and tear which is a bonus. This was £28 worth every penny!
3. This one I posted about here.
4. I LOVE this bag but I've never used it. Each time I go into Harrods I buy something just to show I've been in like the Macy's bag. The first time I got a key ring, the next I got this for £20.
5. Paul's Boutique, I got this for Christmas a couple of years back (the year were everyone had them) I picked a different bag but they were sold out so I got this one. Its so big! I wore this quite a lot so the handles are starting to come off. So I hardly use it now.
6. Another Paul's Boutique, this was a surprise present off my dad. As I mentioned about the straps on the previous one.
7. Every time I went into Accessorize I'd always stare at the bags, they have a beautiful collection. I love the Union Jack print, any time I had money there was also something I needed more. Then for my 18th the postman knocked on the door with this from York off Kate, little did I know she'd been saving to get me it
<3.
8. Diesel, I got in Egypt at the Duty Free I needed to get rid of my money, so I bought this. It was 360EGP which is about £40.
9. I can't remember the price of this one as I've had it for a few years but it is from Primark. I take it on holiday as my beach bag.
10. Another bag from Primark, I usually take this out to town drinking or to a concert. This was £6 reduced to £4.

Ace of hearts.

Hello!
I got my hair cut yesterday, nothing major just an inch or two off the length and feathered towards my face. Afterwards me and mother went in to Primark as she had some shoes to take back and again I started to buy items! I really can't help myself its so cheap! I mainly bought items for Leeds Festival 123 days, its not like I'm counting or anything :)
This is what I bought.

I got a tad bored last night so I popped on Bram Stoker's Dracula (Anthony Hopkins version) and decided to do my nails. Which lead to this design:

For this I used;
Base - Sally Hansen Double Duty.
 Rimmel Lasting Finish - Black.
La Femme Beauty - Red.
Top Coat - Sally Hansen Double Duty.

Babysitting!

Hey Sweeties,
Just a quick update.

As my Aunt and Uncle were both at work they needed someone to look after Charley Erica, which is where I come in! I had the whole day to spend with her! I call her 'Charley Cheeky Chops.' So once I had her pram and bag sorted we headed to the shops and spent a couple of hours at Grandma's :D Once we had seen Grandma I took her to the park and we sat watching the little kids play football, she just sat on my knee laughing and giggling.
Atm, she is currently snuggled up in bed with her favourite toy Shaun the Sheep.

Need water!

Well as I said in my last post I was out clubbing on Saturday night in Newcastle. I got in a 4am, on the way home we got on to the topic of religion, as my friend is half Algerian. So the taxi driver started asking who her family were and asked her about Islam. I love taxi drivers!!
We always start in Sam Jacks then work our way down to City Vaults and we normally end up in Liquid but tonight it was all about Cosy Joes!  It was pretty cheap, downstairs was packed so we went up stairs where there was KARAOKE! The first time I've ever sang live in front of people and I LOVED IT! More to the point we sang Summer Of 69 which is the best.
I said I'd have an outfit post but because we did a lot of pre-drinking we were a bit occupied by filling up the shot glasses! But I have one photo which shows most of what I was wearing.

Red blouse - Peacocks.
White vest - Primark.
Textured tube skirt - Primark.
This is a random women btw, we bonded over our love for the song 'I'm so excited' which we ended up duetting to!

Another unsuccessful night at the quiz, it was on love songs, we had no chance! I'm of to The Slug and Lettuce tonight, with a couple of old friends who I've missed so much. We used to be best friends but since finishing 6th form, we've hardly seen each other. We chose The Slug and Lettuce as Monday is half price night on cocktails and puddings! I may have to wear lose pants. Food baby on the way!

A bientôt!
