Beach, beach beach!

Hello lovelies,
I hope you've all been well, I've been having some much needed power up and down time. I've FINALLY finished my first year of uni, it's went by FAR to quick. So once me and the girls had handed in our last assignment, we went and got our nails done!

Then when I finally had a FULL day of doing nothing, thinking it was rude not to, me and Joanne (cousin) took our younger cousin Charley to the beach. It was Charley's first time!

We had such a fun day, so happy with the weather and for once I am not a milk bottle I have slight red lines on my arms and my freckles are showing they never show unless I'm tanned yay!
Later on in the day when it began to get cooler, we drove to a mini zoo but it was closed :(

Yesterday, me and the mother took a little shopping trip to Primark and bought a load of clothes and shoes for Turkey which I will put in a separate post seriously can't wait only 31 days left.
Are you going on holiday this year?

Much Love,
M! xo

I'm singing in the rain, literally!

Hello sweeties!
I took Charley to get her monthly weigh in, she is now 16lbs 10oz! Afterwards we went to Asda who had a huge sale on, I was so happy.
I bought Union Jack dress which I've wanted since the Jubilee.
£18 down to £10,
Then a crown polka dot blouse
£12 down to £6.
My mam is a bargain warrior in Primark! She found 2 cute winter skirts from £10 to £1!
She also bought me a black pair of flossys to go with everything.

Thursday is a day I will never forget. I went to the fathers who is back from China yay! I had a migraine so I went home. BANG, BANG, CRASH. I thought the little rugrats next door were messing about with the bins, then suddenly my whole room went dark then it started to thunder and lightening! I was a tad scared of the noise. I was stuck on the bus coming from town for 3 hours which normally takes 30 minutes! What was worse is that I had to walk an hour in it.
Yet, all we can do is laugh.
Me and Kate sang singing in the rain, spinning our umbrellas around. Jumping in all the puddles we past. Until  we came across this.

Thank god, my Aunt has a tumble dryer.
People came to their doors to watch us plough through this, it was hilarious. I had to empty my shoes as they acted as buckets, unfortunately. Outside my Aunt's flat my cousin tried to jump out of her car over the puddle but slipped on her botty!

A bientôt, M! xo

Ace of hearts.

Hello!
I got my hair cut yesterday, nothing major just an inch or two off the length and feathered towards my face. Afterwards me and mother went in to Primark as she had some shoes to take back and again I started to buy items! I really can't help myself its so cheap! I mainly bought items for Leeds Festival 123 days, its not like I'm counting or anything :)
This is what I bought.

I got a tad bored last night so I popped on Bram Stoker's Dracula (Anthony Hopkins version) and decided to do my nails. Which lead to this design:

For this I used;
Base - Sally Hansen Double Duty.
 Rimmel Lasting Finish - Black.
La Femme Beauty - Red.
Top Coat - Sally Hansen Double Duty.

Call me maybe?

 Hello!!
I've spent the day in town with my friend Yasmin.
First of all we went to New Look her favourite shop where I bought a lovely Red Aztec Vest and a Cream Yarn Cardigan which was in the sale. Oh and I bought a pair of really cute floral sunglasses.
For a while I've been looking for an over the shoulder bag as my current one is wearing away, so I quickly popped in to Dorothy Perkins and bought a lovely Tan Foldover bag. Before heading to see The Hunger Games again we grabbed a quick bite to eat from Starbucks along with a Signature Hot Chocolate yum!!

I've dyed my hair red! It's like a reddy brown chestnut colour. I've wanted to dye it for so long as I can't remember the last time I did. All I need to do now it get my hair cut.

Also, I've updated my Itunes here are some pretty awesome songs that I'm totally LOV'IN.
-
Labrinth - Last Time (Brilliant artist such a creative producer)
Beyonce - End Of Time (She is the definition of WOMAN)
Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up. (I can fall asleep to his voice)
Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars - Safe & Sound (Since I know its from The Hunger Games I love it even more)
Jessie J ft. David Guetta - Laserlight (Love Jessie!)
Walk The Moon - Anna Sun (I want to party like these, AWESOME band)
Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe. I had to post this video as I think pretty much every girl/guy has gone through this. It's hilarious.

Weekly round-up...

I've had a brilliant weekend!

Friday -
Kate my best friend was upset as her Iphone needed fixed, so she went to the shop and they gave her a new one! So obviously she rang me straight away and asked if I was home. So theres me on my laptop thinking she wants me to do something for her then there was a knock at the door. I have 3 little annoying children (parents don't keep an eye on them so they run round wild) next door. So I put the phone down to answer the door thinking it was them. It was KATE! I was shocked and silent for about 5 mins just flapping my hands about I hadn't seen her since Christmas!
Friday night -
My friend Jamie had a gig at the 02 Academy, which is mentioned in my previous post. So Kate stayed to do my hair and helped me choose what outfit to put on.
Saturday -
All day with Kate <3
We watched the rugby all day, which was amazing as we are the biggest pervs ever! Gorgeous men running around in tight shorts for 80minutes - we were in heaven. We ordered an Indians, I had a Chicken Korma, my taste buds were not built for spices. Then watched Take Me Out and Lets Dance for Sport Relief.
We spent half of the night watching Eric, Kates cat stare at the candles. At one point we are positive he dipped his paw into the candle, we didn't see it happen if he did but Tracy, Kates mum said
"Can you smell singed cat?"
Sunday -
I asked Kate if she wanted to go to Asda as George had a sale on, but she didn't have enough money. So instead she came round mine and raided my wardrobe, we're the same size which is perfect! She only stayed for a little while as she had a train to catch back down to York. Then on my way to the quiz, my friend Chris pulled over and gave me a lift so I persuaded him to join us.
Monday -
Never trust public transport! I had an interview today for a nearby call centre. The bus I went for didn't turn up so I had to get a different one then transfer on to the metro, luckily I got there just in time. The interview seemed to go well. The people were lovely and the guy was hot which makes me want the job more. Fingers crossed I get it. Afterwards, I need a bit of retail therapy but as I'm low on cash I headed to the charity shop and boots!
After that I went to my Grandmas to watch the football. Newcastle United vs Arsenal we lost 2-1 :(

Also,
The other night I watched one of my favourite movies, Cruel Intentions. As I was watching it I realised it has the best soundtrack I've ever listened to.
Some of my favourites are;
Placebo - Every You Every Me.
Fat Boy Slim - Praise You.
Craig Armstrong - This Love.
Bare Jr - You Blew Me Off.

And my ultimate favourites;
The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony.
Counting Crows - Colourblind.

How was your weekend? Did you need any retail therapy?
