Another glorious day of sunshine today.
I felt I needed to be productive, so I printed of a whole bunch of CV's and headed to town.
Whilst there buying a few bits and bobs!
Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hrs.
I've been wearing eye shadow a lot more recently and when I popped into Boots there was a stand with these on. I chose 'On and on Bronze' as my eyes are blue so this colour will compliment them best. I'm really glad that I've bought it! Its really easy to apply and lasts for ages.
I haven't really got much to report on from this weekend;
Friday - I was supposed to babysit Charley by myself, but I wasn't very well so my lovely mother offered to help me. I get insanely bad migraines! The only way I can get rid of them is by sleeping. She pretty much did everything, whilst I rested on the sofa. Then because I looked like crap, I slept at my Grans which was round the corner, instead of getting the bus.
Saturday - I recovered at my Grans whilst watching films all day. At the night we watched The Voice which was amazing! I have so much love for Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue <3
Sunday - I watched my beloved Newcastle United win against West Brom 3-1 and because my family loves a little bet, my mother won £100 from the correct score. She gave me a bit for my drinks at the pub quiz. I won two beer tokens and got picked out for the jackpot question which of course I didn't know at the time, but once I was told it I couldn't stop singing it hence the title of this post! Although Dan won a line and a house on the bingo! Whoop :)
I'm getting quite excited for my cousins wedding though its not for another 5 months. I need to lose some weight so from this week I'm going to cut out the crap I eat and exercise A LOT more.
Boy, do I love that place. When I was younger on holiday I used buy crap that I could get at home so now I don't really spend much, so I can blow it all in the Duty Free.
I love how cute and small the bottles are. I chose Woodstock which is a radioactive pink, I used three layers on the pink to make it opaque and two layers on the grey :)
My phone contract ends in September! I currently have a HTC Wildfire which I do love but after having it for nearly 2 years I'm slightly bored with it. Kate has an Iphone which I LOVE any time I see her I always ask to play on Temple Run, it's SO addictive I get really annoyed when I die on it :(
I've been surfer around on the mobile sites and I'm going to get an Iphone! Its just amazing, I can't go back to a keep pad phone from having a touch screen it'd be so weird. I really can't wait 6 months I've already picked a few covers I want for it.
I've seen a lot of tag posts around whilst surfing, wishing someone would tag me! And now I've been tagged by Kayley Jane. I love these types of posts, I'm very nosey :)
As I don't have 11 people to tag I shall be tagging 6 instead.
1. Each person must post 5 things about themselves on their blog.
2. Answer the questions the tagger has set for you plus eleven questions for the people you have tagged to answer.
3. Choose eleven people and link them to your tag.
4. Go to their page and tell them.

Kate my best friend was upset as her Iphone needed fixed, so she went to the shop and they gave her a new one! So obviously she rang me straight away and asked if I was home. So theres me on my laptop thinking she wants me to do something for her then there was a knock at the door. I have 3 little annoying children (parents don't keep an eye on them so they run round wild) next door. So I put the phone down to answer the door thinking it was them. It was KATE! I was shocked and silent for about 5 mins just flapping my hands about I hadn't seen her since Christmas! Friday night -
My friend Jamie had a gig at the 02 Academy, which is mentioned in my previous post. So Kate stayed to do my hair and helped me choose what outfit to put on. Saturday -
All day with Kate <3
We watched the rugby all day, which was amazing as we are the biggest pervs ever! Gorgeous men running around in tight shorts for 80minutes - we were in heaven. We ordered an Indians, I had a Chicken Korma, my taste buds were not built for spices. Then watched Take Me Out and Lets Dance for Sport Relief.
We spent half of the night watching Eric, Kates cat stare at the candles. At one point we are positive he dipped his paw into the candle, we didn't see it happen if he did but Tracy, Kates mum said
"Can you smell singed cat?"
I asked Kate if she wanted to go to Asda as George had a sale on, but she didn't have enough money. So instead she came round mine and raided my wardrobe, we're the same size which is perfect! She only stayed for a little while as she had a train to catch back down to York. Then on my way to the quiz, my friend Chris pulled over and gave me a lift so I persuaded him to join us. Monday -
Never trust public transport! I had an interview today for a nearby call centre. The bus I went for didn't turn up so I had to get a different one then transfer on to the metro, luckily I got there just in time. The interview seemed to go well. The people were lovely and the guy was hot which makes me want the job more. Fingers crossed I get it. Afterwards, I need a bit of retail therapy but as I'm low on cash I headed to the charity shop and boots!
After that I went to my Grandmas to watch the football. Newcastle United vs Arsenal we lost 2-1 :(
The other night I watched one of my favourite movies, Cruel Intentions. As I was watching it I realised it has the best soundtrack I've ever listened to.
Some of my favourites are;
Placebo - Every You Every Me.
Fat Boy Slim - Praise You.
Craig Armstrong - This Love.
Bare Jr - You Blew Me Off.
And my ultimate favourites;
The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony.
Counting Crows - Colourblind.
How was your weekend? Did you need any retail therapy?
First of all, there's a song I'd like to share from Neon Trees called Animal which is amazing. Considering its been out for years I can't believe I've just heard it. It's amazing and already on my laptop.
The title of this post is my friends band 'Blowout Rodeo' who Chloe and I seen last night playing at the 02 Academy Newcastle. The band consists of 4 members.
Basically, just WOW. They were amazing, everyone were rocking hard some harder than others :) They played a set of 7 songs, they should've been on longer. My favourites were Jaegerbomb and Trephening.
There were quite a few hot drummers in the building!
As my Aunt and Uncle were both at work they needed someone to look after Charley Erica, which is where I come in! I had the whole day to spend with her! I call her 'Charley Cheeky Chops.' So once I had her pram and bag sorted we headed to the shops and spent a couple of hours at Grandma's :D Once we had seen Grandma I took her to the park and we sat watching the little kids play football, she just sat on my knee laughing and giggling.
Atm, she is currently snuggled up in bed with her favourite toy Shaun the Sheep.
Well as I said in my last post I was out clubbing on Saturday night in Newcastle. I got in a 4am, on the way home we got on to the topic of religion, as my friend is half Algerian. So the taxi driver started asking who her family were and asked her about Islam. I love taxi drivers!!
We always start in Sam Jacks then work our way down to City Vaults and we normally end up in Liquid but tonight it was all about Cosy Joes! It was pretty cheap, downstairs was packed so we went up stairs where there was KARAOKE! The first time I've ever sang live in front of people and I LOVED IT! More to the point we sang Summer Of 69 which is the best.
I said I'd have an outfit post but because we did a lot of pre-drinking we were a bit occupied by filling up the shot glasses! But I have one photo which shows most of what I was wearing.
Red blouse - Peacocks.
White vest - Primark.
Textured tube skirt - Primark.
This is a random women btw, we bonded over our love for the song 'I'm so excited' which we ended up duetting to!
Another unsuccessful night at the quiz, it was on love songs, we had no chance! I'm of to The Slug and Lettuce tonight, with a couple of old friends who I've missed so much. We used to be best friends but since finishing 6th form, we've hardly seen each other. We chose The Slug and Lettuce as Monday is half price night on cocktails and puddings! I may have to wear lose pants. Food baby on the way!
