Social Sunday?

Hi sweeties!
Sundays for me are to relax watch a film, have a nice Sunday dinner (Yorkshire puddings are just heaven!) then after that I head up to my local pub quiz to have a weekly face to face catch up with my friends whilst having a cheeky JD's and coke.
Last Sunday I read Katie's blog Lady Million where she introduced her readers to a Sunday Blog hop called Sunday Social held by Ashley and Neely.  I'm not going to link up to BLT this week as I don't want to do two consecutive posts about blog hops.
So why not make more friends?
This weeks questions are:

#1.Favourite movie of all time?
Defiantly the Labyrinth! You know Heat's (English magazine) weird crush list? David Bowie is mine ever since I've watched that movie. It has the best soundtrack ever I might actually download it.

#2.Favourite movie quote?
I've never really been one to remember lines as my memory is completely crap, worse than a goldfish. But after seeing The Avengers I don't ever think that another movie could produce a line or two of this high comedic standard.
"Thor: Watch how you speak of Loki he is still of Asgard and my brother.
Black Widow: He's killed more than 80 people in two days.
Thor: He's adopted."
Pure genius!!

#3.Best movie to watch for a girls night in?
Has to be The Sweetest Thing with Cameron Diaz. It's beyond hilarious, don't watch it if you get offended by strong sexual humour, especially as there's a whole song dedicated to the males reproductive organ. Always watch this with a bottle of wine. It's perfection.

#4.Best break-up movie?
The Holiday. It's just such a sweet movie. After every break up just take a holiday!

#5.Favourite celeb eye candy?
There's two that are my ultimate favourites, I'll never stop crushing on Channing Tatum and Chris Hemsworth! I'd like a sandwich with these two please. I can't wait to see Channing as a striper in Magic Mike!! And Thor 2 for Chris with his amazing, fantastical biceps.

#6.Which movie stars closet would you want to raid?
For me it has to be Selena Gomez, I just want to be her, I wouldn't mind the Biebs either. She looks good in everything, she could even wear a bin bag and probably still pull it off.

Top 10 #6 - Films

Hey everyone!
I know I normally do my top #5 but,
I'm a huge film buff so this post has been quite difficult to do so I'm doing my top 10 films.
After a long time thinking (slightly hurt my brain) these are my favourite ones.

The first time I watched this I was a lot younger and it scared me I remember holding my mams hand tightly but as a few years passed I watched it on my own and LOVED it. There's nothing scary about it.
Favourite character: Hoggle
Favourite quote: "Hey, lady! It's against the rules to throwing other people's heads!"

Just wow! I seen this at the cinemas for a friends birthday. When Jake first came on I was like "BICEPS!"
It truly is a great film it has a fantastic storyline, Princes, Princesses, evil people. I didn't know that it was a video game until a friend told me. The ending is so cute.
Favourite character: Sheik Amar
Favourite quote: You can't organise an Ostrich race with only one Ostrich!

Indiana Jones is my hero. I love all 4 films but this is my ultimate favourite. Once again it has the element of myths and power beyond imagination. Part of it is set in Italy which is just amazing. And the fact that it has thee Sir Sean Connery the legend himself puts it miles ahead of the others. I love the whole father, son relationship they have it just makes you laugh.
Favourite character: Sallah
Favourite quote:  "How did you know she was a Nazi? She talks in her sleep."

This is a beautiful story everyone has to watch this film. It will make you cry but you'll be so happy at the end. Sarah is such an amazing strong girl at such a young age (I'm aware this is a film) she endures heartache, friendship, courage and hope. Her relationship with her father is so perfect what every little girls wants. Be sure to have tissues at the hand.
Favourite character: Sarah
Favourite quote: "I swear, that child has a pact with Satan to destroy me!"

With all the hype and a previous post I don't think I need an explanation other than 'BICEPS, YUM!, HOTNESS'
Favourite character: Captain America
Favourite quote:  "Be careful how you speak, Loki is still of Asgard and my brother.
He's killed more than 80 people in 2 days.
He's adopted."

All my friends seen this without me so I watched it online. Thank god I did! My laugh would've annoyed everyone. This is just an hilarious film, about a group of average English lads going aboard on their first 'lads' holiday. This is not a film to watch with your parents.
Favourite character: Will
Favourite quote: "I stopped believing in god when I realised it was just dog spelt backwards"

This is my favourite purely because its when everything comes together. Harry finally finds all of the horcruxes now able to destroy Voldermort finding out more about Dumbledore. I read all of the books before the films came out and this I think is the closest to the book. I love the very last clip of them 10 years later.
Favourite character: Neville (Always has been)
Favourite quote: "Not my daughter, you bitch!"

This is another film great film with the master of comedy Adam Sandler, who plays a plastic surgeon he enlists his assistant and her children to pretend to be his ex wife and children all to impress a girl.
Its full of funny lies and its defiantly a film for the whole family.
Favourite character: Eddie
Favourite quote: "So Michael, your dad tells me you like to go to the bathroom?
Michael: When I feel it, I do it."

Defiantly one of the best rom coms out! Katherine plays a wedding planner who's kept all of he 27 bridesmaid dresses. She's been in love with her boss for years but then her sister comes to town and gets engaged to him asking Katherine to be her wedding planner.
Another film full of funny lines and great songs such as Bennie and the Jets.
Favourite character: Pedro
Favourite quote: "Hey, do you want to come over to my place before the party? Some of the guys from shipping are coming, and they're bringing tequila and bubble wrap."

I read the book before the film, it's such a great adaption. I'm sure many of you have read the book by Jane Austen. I truly love this film, about two sisters who's father has died leaving them in poor circumstances along with their mother and younger sister.
Favourite character: Margaret
Favourite quote: "Please don't say anything important 'til I come back."

A bientôt, M! xo

Top Five #2 - Actors

Hello, this week I'm sharing my favourite actors. Nothing much has happened this week as I've mainly been baby sitting. I've bought a few bits and bobs which I'll add on tomorrows Saturdays post.
Here are the actors:
One of the most versatile and gorgeous actors to have ever lived! And if you don't know who he is you must be living under a rock. My favourite film he's been in is Pirates of the Carribbean: At Worlds End.
I just love his British accent it makes me go all jelly. For Alice In Wonderland I couldn't think of a better actor to play Mad Hatter, he was amazing. All of the Burton/Depp films are brilliant they're the perfect couple in the film industry, I really want to see Dark Shadows which is out soon it looks hilarious.
THERE IS ALSO A PIRATE OF THE CARRIBBEAN 5 COMING OUT!!!
The first film I seen him in was Six Days Seven Nights a rom com with David Schwimmer. I recognised him but couldn't put my finger on it until my mam told me he was Indiana Jones! My uncle was mad on Indiana Jones and always told me to watch them.
So obviously I bought the Indiana Jones film set which is amazing with all four films. They are all amazing apart from The Temple of Doom which is ok just not as good as the others. Also he starred in the remake of Audrey Hepburns' Sabrina.
WHILST DOING THIS POST I'VE SEEN THERE IS A INDIANA JONES 5 COMING OUT!
Really hope Shia LaBeouf is in again, well he has to he's Indi's son. Kind of just answered my own question there :S

When I think of Ben Stiller the iconic film that comes to mind is There's Something About Mary. Which is hilarious from start to finish, it's one of the films I can watch over and over without getting bored. Zoolander is an hilarious film, his manager is played by his real life dad!
I love the Madagascar films which he voices Alex the lion my favourite one would be Escape 2 Africa. I also like Night At The Museum and Meet The Fockers. Last year when I was in New York we went to the Natural History Museum I just kept going round saying 'Ben Stillers been here, we are walking where he's walked' (Weird I know, I'm strange like that).
THERE'S A ZOOLANDER 2 COMING OUT!!

Funny! He's funny, his films are funny!
I'm not lying when I say I've seen everyone of his movies!
There's quite a few films that stand out for me such as; Grown Ups, Big Daddy, Just Go With It, Happy Gilmore and Little Nicky.
Not only does he star in movies he also writes and produces them, I'm sure he has his own company too Happy Madison.
THERE IS A GROWN UPS 2 COMING OUT!!

5 - Robert Downey Jr.
I've loved him for years, way before Iron Man. I like many geeky movies and the first time I watched him was in a film called Weird Science which is pretty amazing. These two geeks make a real women from a computer programme who is hot and Downey plays on of the bullies.
The next two films were rom coms. The Pick-up Artist with Molly Ringwald the ultimate 80's teen actress, she was in loads of teen films such as Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club basically John Hughes was amazing. Got a tad carried away as you can probably tell I LOVE films. The other one was Only You a lovely rom com set in Italy.
FINALLY THE AVENGERS!!
JUST WOW!!
He really is SO cute in this!

I'm currently having a conversation with Kate (My bestfriend currently at University in York), which has went like this;
Me: RIGHT, I KNOW THERES ANOTHER AVENGERS FILM COMING BUT,
THOR 2 COMING OUT NEXT YEAR WITH NATALIE PORTMAN!!!
IRON MAN 3 COMING OUT NEXT YEAR!!!
CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 COMING OUT IN 2014!!!
NEW HULK COMING OUT IN 2015!!!
I hope I don't die soon!!!
♥ ♥
Kate: HAHAHAHA i did tell you all this a while ago :P and you forgot how to train your dragon 2 !!!
Me:  BUT STILL, MORE BICEP ACTION! AHH! TOOTHLESS!! ♥ ♥
Kate: aawwwwww its times like this that just show why i love you!
Me: N'awwwhh! Miss you!!

Whilst on the subject of actors and The Avengers I have to share this with you.

York!

Hello!
I've had such a great week!
Wednesday I travelled down to York to stay with Kate for the night. We watched the Hulk, Thor and Captain America which of course was preparation for The Avengers. Ahh!! On the Wednesday night we went to York drinking. It was AMAZING! We went to two bars Reflex and Mansion. Reflex was awesome its mainly 80's and 90's songs that get played which is just the best. They have a revolving dance floor and a bucking bronco!
Half way into the night Mysterious Girl by Peter Andre came on and all the boys on the revolving bit whipped off their tops, its fair to say my jaw pretty much dropped we didn't know where to look. Me and Ashleigh just stood watching half naked men spin round :P Then later on still in Reflex the Baywatch theme tune came and the boys once again whipped off their tops and started to do press ups until the bouncers told them to stop spoil sporters :'( Next we moved on to Mansion Jack was pretty much drunk by this time which was hilarious. We didn't really spend that much time there but the bar men were rude.

See how defined their back muscles are :P
Oh and if you look to the top there was this girl who unzipped her dress and joined in!

Thursday WE WENT TO SEE THE AVENGERS! IT WAS BEYOND AMAZING BEST MOVIE EVER!
CHRIS EVANS, CHRIS HEMSWORTH WITH ROBERT DOWNEY JR AND SCARLETT JOHANSSON (Of course there is more actors and actresses in the film but they aren't as drop dead gorgeous as the ones mentioned.)
IT WAS AMAZING SO FUNNY AND UNPREDICTABLE.

Friday I baby sat Charley again she is getting so big and her first tooth is coming through!

How cute are taxi drivers I know they want a tip but still?!
On the way to the train station my driver was an older guy he was saying that I'd interrupted his breakfast which I jokingly apologised for as it was a bacon sandwich (I'd be furious if anyone stopped me from tucking into bacon it is magical like the holy grail).  Then getting to Kates house the driver was lovely he was asking if I was hitting town that night telling me where to go and that I got out, the first thing I said to Kate 'How hot was he?' which she laughed at, which I hope he never heard :)
On the way back to Newcastle the driver talked about the rain it was really heavy, then we heard about Andres Breivik's trial on the radio which he proceeded to say that if he ruled England he'd castrate paedophiles and make the swallow their own testicles. How lovely :S
